HSR Stations In Malaysia?...

 

At the time this blogpost was being typed... there were rumors stating that the Malaysian and Singaporean governments would like to reopen the door to negotiate to resume high-speed rail (HSR) projects connecting Kuala Lumpur - Singapore through several stations.

Here are some of the HSR stop stations that are expected to potentially be created...

~ Kuala Lumpur Station (possibly located in Kuala Lumpur Sentral, KL Sentral).

~ Putrajaya Station (possibly located in Putrajaya Sentral).

~ Seremban Station (possibly located in Nilai area).

~ Melaka Station (possibly located in Ayer Keroh / Hang Tuah Jaya area).

~ Muar Station (probably located in Pagoh area).

~ Batu Pahat Station (probably located in the Sri Gading area).

~ Johor Bahru Station (possibly located in Iskandar Puteri area).

~ Singapore Station (probably located in Jurong area).

In the opinion of the author of this blog... the alignment of these HSR stations have the potential to be extended to the northern tip of the west coast of peninsular Malaysia, which is up to Perlis. If the alignment of these HSR stations can be extended to the north end of the west coast of peninsular Malaysia that is up to Perlis... in the view of the author of this blog... the following is a list of alignment of HSR stations that have the potential to be connected from Kangar to Kuala Lumpur...

~ Kangar Station (potentially located in the Bukit Lagi area).

~ Alor Setar Station (potentially located in Muadzam Shah / Anak Bukit / Kuala Kedah area).

~ Penang Station (potentially located in Prai area).

~ Ipoh Station (potentially located in the Meru Raya area).

~ Kuala Lumpur Station (possibly located in Kuala Lumpur Sentral, KL Sentral).

If by the time this HSR project is fully completed and managed to have a very positive impact on the Malaysian economy... some Malaysian HSR routes have the potential to be considered for its existence. In the opinion of the author of this blog... the following is a list of routes and alignments of potential HSR stations created after Route 1 (Kuala Lumpur - Singapore or potentially Kangar - Singapore)...

Route 2, East Coast - Klang Valley Route (Kota Bharu - Shah Alam).

~ Kota Bharu Station (potentially located in Tunjung area).

~ Kuala Terengganu Station (potentially located in the Bukit Besar area).

~ Kuantan Station (potentially located in Indera Mahkota or Kuantan Sentral area).

~ Temerloh Station.

~ Kuala Lumpur Station (possibly located in Kuala Lumpur Sentral / KL Sentral area).

~ Shah Alam Station.

Route 3, East Coast - Iskandar Malaysia Route (Kuantan - Johor Bahru).

~ Kuantan Station (potentially located in Indera Mahkota or Kuantan Sentral area).

~ Kluang Station (potentially located in Mengkibol city center area).

~ Johor Bahru Station (possibly located in Iskandar Puteri area).

Route 4, East Malaysia Route (Kuching - Tawau).

~ Kuching Station, Sarawak.

~ Kota Samarahan Station.

~ Sri Aman Station.

~ Sibu Station.

~ Bintulu Station.

~ Sabah Sarawak Border Station (for immigration check purposes for the purpose of crossing Sabah / Sarawak).

The existence of HSR in several countries such as Japan, South Korea, China and France have proven that the existence of HSR does play an important role in influencing the economic impact on the country because it can connect the population in large and small urban areas economically and socially.

There are several countries that are interested in building this HSR line such as India and Indonesia in their countries. Therefore... Malaysia should not be left behind in the current economic development.

If this HSR project can impact economic progress to some countries that already have HSR such as Japan, China & South Korea... imagine what the impact will be on Malaysia in general.

One of the economic effects that can hit Malaysia when the HSR project and several stop stations in Malaysia are completed and start operating... there will be a sharp population growth as a result of the large migration of villagers to small towns near this HSR station to live in the small town of this HSR station but works in big cities like Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as the cost of living in the small town of this HSR station is still lower than in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Anyway... the author of this blog hopes this thing will become real one day in the future.

List & Suggestions Of Potential Ports By States In Malaysia?...

 

In Malaysia... there are several international ports namely Klang Port, Pasir Gudang Port, Tanjung Pelepas Port, Penang Port, Kuantan Port, Kuching Port & Kota Kinabalu Port.

Apart from the international ports mentioned earlier, there are also several domestic ports in almost every state, among them is the Port of Lumut which is located in the state of Perak.

In the opinion of the authors of this blog... Malaysia have the potential for the addition of several international ports in the country to further boost the country's economic sector. The addition of several international ports in the country can be done in two ways, namely creating new ports or upgrading existing domestic ports to international ports.

Airport to be built in Perlis, says MB

An airport will be built in Perlis as a catalyst to boost the state’s development, said Menteri Besar Azlan Man.

It would be built in Chuping, in line with the state government’s efforts to turn the area into a development hub, he said in his speech at the monthly assembly for civil servants in the state in Kangar today.

The text of the speech was read out by state secretary Romli Dai, who also launched the state-level Fly the Jalur Gemilang campaign.

He did not mention the cost of the proposed project, but said the airport would have landing facility for small aircraft to “facilitate local and foreign investors to come to the state”.

Azlan said he believed the presence of the aircraft would help to boost development in Perlis in line with efforts to turn it into a developed state.
